For the ultimate recording experience the entire property can be rented on a monthly basis. The totally separate fully furnished two story four bedroom, four bath house has spectacular ocean and mountain views from all rooms and includes a swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor sauna, rec room with a 9’ pool table, and an entertainment system with 5.1 M&K monitors, 50” plasma screen and a media library with over 800 DVDs. There are also outdoor speakers on the rear ocean view patio and over the pool. Upstairs alongside the four bedrooms is a loft library and a large bonus room that can easily be utilized as a fifth bedroom. With three foldout couches in the house and a bed in the sleeping loft above the studio office just about any recording crew can be comfortably accommodated in style on the one and a half acre compound.
Residents will have the key to some of the most special private beaches in Southern California, within walking distance of the property. Fantastic surfing, tidepools, whale watching, and beautiful vistas abound. Wetsuits, surfboards, boogie boards, and kayaks are available in the surf sheds alongside the garage. Bicycles are in the garage, just waiting to be ridden along Zuma Beach. Within easy walking distance is a shopping center with a Pavillions supermarket, banks, Starbucks, Point Pizza, Subway, etc. If one is leasing longterm and has kids there is a highly acclaimed marine science magnet elementary school a mere two blocks away.
All housekeeping, studio upkeep, pool and yard maintenance will be provided, allowing the artist to concentrate solely on recording a masterpiece and mastering the surf - or at least a nice tan. If requested, a personal chef will also be at your beck and call.
Even though all of the incredible amenities and culture of Los Angeles are within easy striking distance, one will have the distinct feel of Malibu country living by the sea while recording. A unique experience for the elite few - the Woodshed.
