What you are watching is the studio being converted from one large open project room to a small control room with a large live room and a piano iso booth. This represents two of the many possible configurations of the room. All of the equipment is on wheels so as to make for an easy transition. All of the wiring for the studio - the mic panels, preamp access, cat 5 control cables, etc. - is in triplicate and hidden in the large wiring trough, in the walls, and in four wiring pits strategically placed under the mahogany floors.
The beginning perspective is facing west across the studio floor, with the dining deck and ocean view to the east behind you. After the equipment moves to its new location your perspective begins to shift around the room as the movable walls begin to slide into place from the far northwest corner. Watch as the walls assemble into a soundproof double walled airlock. We move thru the newly formed piano booth into the new control room and swing our perspective one last time, facing east thru the glass into the live room with the deck and ocean beyond.
